Link Strategy
Links are one of the best ways to improve on your search engine ranking.
Google, for instance, has a method determining how high your website will score in Google's result page of based on the number of inbound links. The more links you have coming into your site the more "votes" your site recieves. The links coming in to your site should have the same theme as your site. There can be devaluation of the link factor if the subject matter is off topic, or even penalties if it is from a Free For All link farm. FFA site are mostly spam tools and signing up for them can flood an email box with spam.
